Hi, My baby is just over 5 weeks now and i am having some trouble in letting her settle herself to sleep. Most days we will have to carry her for her to fall asleep and i am scared she is going to get used to this routine. Most days we try and put her in her cot or pram for her to settle herself, and most times she will just cry her lungs out before we pick her up when she will calm down. Is she too young to get used to this? Most people have told me not too worry as she is still a newborn and just likes to be comforted and i dont need to worry as she wont get used to a routine till she is over 3 months - is this true?
